Founded in the historic gem-trading hub of Peshawar, Pakistan, Oriental Himalayan LLP emerged from a deep-rooted passion for the earth’s rarest treasures and a vision to bring ethically sourced Himalayan gemstones to the global stage. Established in 2023 by GIA alumnus and seasoned gemologist Jangraiz Khan, the firm blends tradition with professionalism, drawing on Mr. Khan’s extensive gemological education and 14 years of international business experience. Oriental Himalayan LLP is proudly registered with Pakistan’s SECP and is a member of APCEA, ensuring full legal compliance and trade credibility. Through strong ties with artisanal mining communities in Pakistan and Afghanistan, the company offers a curated selection of authentic, responsibly mined gemstones—ranging from uncut crystals to investment-grade stones—delivered worldwide with trust and transparency. Jangraiz Khan
Jangraiz Khan is the Founder and Managing Director of Oriental Himalayan LLP, a registered gemstone trading firm with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP https://www.secp.gov.pk/ ). The firm specializes in sourcing and trading high-quality colored gemstones—primarily from the rich mineral reserves of Pakistan and Afghanistan—and is committed to ethical sourcing and global best practices.
Mr. Khan brings a unique combination of technical expertise, industry insight, and financial acumen to the gemstone business. He holds a University Diploma in Gemology from the Gems and Jewellery Centre of Excellence, University of Engineering, Peshawar, as well as a Certificate in Gemology from TEVTA (Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority), a leading government institution in Pakistan. Additionally, he has earned a Certificate from The Gems and Gemological Institute of Pakistan (GGIP), a premier institute for gemological studies in the region.

Under his leadership, Oriental Himalayan LLP has gained recognition and is a proud member of the All Pakistan Commercial Exporters Association of Rough and Un-polished Precious and Semi Precious Stones (APCEA).
The firm is also officially registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Government of Pakistan.
Prior to founding Oriental Himalayan LLP, Mr. Khan served for nearly 14 years with Sajjad Haider Group, a reputed Dubai-based firm of auditors and business advisors.
